BACKGROUND INFORMATION: SARD provides life-saving, life-sustaining, and community-galvanizing humanitarian assistance to populations affected by the Syrian conflict, supporting more than 130,000 people annuallyOur 100+ team members implement first-line emergency assistance, resilience, and early recovery support in the sectors of Food Security, Non-Food Items, Shelter, WASH, Protection, and Livelihood.Job Summary: The Project Assistant works under the supervision of the Project Coordinator to support the field implementation of humanitarian activities in AdıyamanResponsibilities include executing activities related to livelihoods, shelter, protection, multipurpose cash assistance, and other humanitarian interventions in line with project plansThis role requires extensive field mobility, direct interaction with beneficiaries, and coordination with field teams and local stakeholders to ensure Duties and Responsibilities:Implement field activities related to livelihoods, protection, shelter, and multipurpose cash assistance according to project plans.Monitor and coordinate the distribution of humanitarian aid to ensure it reaches the targeted beneficiaries appropriately.Conduct regular field visits to assess community needs and ensure the effectiveness of assistance provided.Assist in organizing and facilitating training sessions and workshops for beneficiaries under livelihoods and protection programs.Collect field data and prepare periodic reports on activity implementation, including challenges and recommendations for improvement.Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure the availability of necessary resources for activity implementation.Work closely with local stakeholders, including municipalities, civil society organizations, and service providers, to ensure effective coordination.Ensure adherence to humanitarian standards, protection principles, and a do no harm approach in all activities.Provide technical and administrative support to the project team as needed to ensure smooth operations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Social Sciences, Management, International Development, or similar.Previous experience working with humanitarian organizations or in humanitarian assistance projects, preferably in Turkey.Fieldwork experience and direct interaction with target communities.Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multicultural team.Ability to work in challenging environments and respond quickly to emergency needs.Good knowledge of the local context in Adıyaman and an understanding of the challenges facing affected communities.Fluency in Turkish is required; English proficiency is an advantage.Willingness to travel extensively within project locations.Note: All employees are expected to perform their duties in accordance with our approved Anti-Harassment Policy.SARD has zero tolerance for sexual exploitation and abuse of beneficiaries.The Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse PSEA policy is everyone s responsibility, and all employees must adhere to the Code of Conduct that upholds the principles of PSEA at all times whether during or outside working hours.Interested applicants who meet the above qualifications must submit an updated resume in English and ensure it is uploaded to the online application form.We strongly encourage women to apply and are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environmentThe SARD Human Resources department will only contact shortlisted candidates.All applicants must mention their relevant experience in the field of expertise in the link above.All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply with equal consideration for employment, regardless of race, religion, gender, disability, or age.Important Note: Please do not wait until the deadline to apply; kindly submit your application as soon as possibleThe HR team will review resumes as they are received, and qualified candidates will be contacted for interviews as soon as possible to fill the position.For more İnfo :  How to apply:Please follow the link below to complete the application:https:--forms.gle-WGEcJ3Ckqh5wVxCG9Before the closing date of  March 17, 2025
